The summers are here, and with covid restrictions reducing, people are making travel plans again. Everyone had a gloomy two years sitting at home, but there’s good news for all travel enthusiasts. Malaysia, one of Asia’s most popular tourist destinations, is officially opening tourism for International tourists from 1 April. This country is an amalgamation of various cultures and ethnicities. It has everything that a tourist would want. Travelling to Malaysia is a dream for many who now have a chance to tick that off their lists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From lush rainforests and pristine blue beaches to colonial buildings, Malaysia has it all. The country has excellent connectivity with 7 International Airports that offer regular flights worldwide to and from major cities. Apart from domestic airports, there is a vast network of buses and trains connecting the towns and cities in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that the lockdown is over and travelling is resuming, every country has set its own rules and regulations. Tourists must adhere to these for their safety and those around them. Malaysia, too, has guidelines and rules that one must follow. The Transport Ministry in the country has been working round the clock to ensure that visitors have a comfortable and safe journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Digital Travelling Cards to be Issued to Tourists  <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Malaysia has launched its app called MySejahtera. Tourists are supposed to download the app before departure from their home country, fill out all the necessary details, and attach their medical test reports. It is a tracking app by the government. If the traveller is fit to travel, a travelling card on the app will be issued, and only then the person will be allowed to board the flight. The digital card will also include the vaccination status of the travellers. From April, locals and international tourists who are fully vaccinated do not have to undergo quarantine. However, an RT-PCR test (48 hours before departure) and an RTK- antigen test (within 24 hours of arrival) are mandatory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guidelines for Travelling Between Singapore and Malaysia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Travellers entering Malaysia from Singapore have to travel via Vaccinated Travel Lane(VTL). The guidelines for travellers using this lane are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
