Malaysia, a fast-growing tourist destination, is also known as the theme park capital of South-east Asia. In fact, Mimaland, Malaysia’s first theme park, started in the year 1971. Later due to legal problems, Mimaland had to close down forever in 1994. At present, there are more than seventeen theme parks in Malaysia. Few Malaysian, as well as few international theme park brands, are coming together to start up a few more new ones.

The theme park culture plays a significant role in the growth of tourism in Malaysia. Some tourists come to Malaysia just to visit some of these larger-than-life theme parks. These amusement parks being family-friendly and a great place for youngsters to let their hair down is a big crowd puller. You can take your kids to these theme parks during their School holidays!
